Principles & Purposes:
Da Nang Union of Science & Technology Associations is a social and political organization of the scientific and technological intelligentsia of Da Nang city with the other social and political organizations to make up the core force in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the Da Nang City.
Functions and tasks:
1. To gather and unite the Da Nang scientific and technical intellectuals to develop their intellectual potential in order to serve the industrialization and modernization of Da Nang city.
2. To well implement the role of the member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
3. To act as the main point of contact between the members of Party, State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and other politic organizations; to build, develop, and improve the operational efficiency of the organizational system of the Union; to consolidate and develop the organization of member associations.
4. To educate the patriotic spirit, a sense of civic responsibility, sense of community, honesty and ethics of intellectuals.
5. To implement the foreign affairs and international cooperation in the field of science and technology
